As our customer (you/your), when you place a shopping order with Black Cockatoo Distillery (we/us/our), we will attempt to fulfill your order with care and in good time. This policy outlines what you can expect.

By using Black Cockatoo Distillery’s website, you consent to these terms and conditions. We may change these terms and conditions at any time, effective upon posting here.

Deliveries

Delivery is only available to addresses in Australia.

Please double check details when placing your order. Once we receive your order for products, you cannot cancel or vary that order. In the rare situation that an ordered item can’t be fulfilled, we will contact you.

Once you place a shopping order with us, we’ll package your order and dispatch it within 10 business days (often 2-3 days), unless the product is marked as pre-sale or is out of stock, in which case it will be dispatched when available.

To help with prompt delivery, please include a phone number/contact person for the delivery address as we require a signature on delivery. This person must be over 18 years of age to accept and sign for the delivery. Proof of age may be required.

Receipt of delivery to your shipping address will depend on proximity to our distillery in Bridgetown, Western Australia, and may range from overnight to 10 days. Delivery dates and times indicated are approximate only and are not a guarantee of delivery by such time. While our we will try to get your order delivered quickly, we are not liable for any loss or inconvenience for late delivery.

Where an order was submitted with incorrect or out-of-date details by you, we are not liable for the resulting incorrect or unclaimed delivery. There may be additional charges for redelivery or redirection if you provide a new address.

All attempts will be made to ship items in original packaging. Some minor marks or scuffs may be present. If you want to be completely sure of an item’s condition, then we recommend you purchase in a physical store near you where you can see the item first, or contact us before placing an order.

We have no obligation and make no offer to arrange for insurance of goods against the risks of carriage.

Refunds, returns and replacements

In the unlikely event that your item(s) are damaged during shipping, you need to notify us within 3 days of delivery. Please take a photo of the item(s) and the packaging as we may need these as evidence for internal follow up.

If we accept a return of goods from you, any amount payable as a result of that return of goods is not payable in cash by us. We may provide you a reduced price or discount for a future order from us. Occasions where this might be considered is a bottle with a faulty seal or damaged in transit. As mentioned, please notify us quickly after delivery if you have concerns.
